PSEP conducts workshops and self paced training materials for persons seeking DEC
pesticide applicator certification and re-certification. A list of pesticide training
materials and a schedule of coming workshops are posted on this page.

Initial and
ReCertification will be offered. Pick up materials before class dates. Call
474-2450 to register and for further information on times and location.
Anchorage, Copper
Valley/Kenny Lake, Delta Junction, Homer, Kenai/Soldotna and Palmer have no scheduled
classes for the remainder of 2008. New listings will be posted for 2009 as they
become available, please check back.

(phone number 376-1866) or the Cooperative Extension Service, University of Alaska
Fairbanks, Pesticide Safety Education Program in Delta Junction (phone number 895-4215)
for information on self paced study. PSEP workshops and self paced study require an
approved, monitored administration of the DEC pesticide applicator certification exam.
There is an annual $25.00 DEC fee to maintain your certification, DEC will mail you an
invoice for this fee.
